I painted this scene from my memory of Jacksonville beach. It was a bright, windy morning after a stormy night. The dark clouds were dispersing and rays of light shone through. How beautifully does this echo the feeling of when we work through a challenge? The understanding of Christ, Truth dispels the storm and leaves our perception of the world washed clean and glittering with fresh promise.
