I painted this while on a recent trip to Missouri and Illinois, where I attended my reunion at Principia College. This view of the Mississippi River while standing up near the campus chapel is beloved by many students and faculty.
Think of this as a "bonus" to the For the Love of St. Louis series. While it isn't a painting of architecture from downtown, it certainly is close by and captures that sentimental feel of the Midwest landscape. See the last photo for how nicely it pairs with the rest of this series.
While the print doesn't have the physical texture of the original, this high-quality print shows the brush strokes and depth of color on a stretched, gallery-wrapped canvas. This piece will be produced on demand...made in the USA specifically for you...and will ship directly to you, ready to hang!
