Can you hear the thundering power of this waterfall? I stood there painting this view of upstream, with my back to a staggering drop-off only 30 feet away. This is the famous Jackson Falls of Tamworth, NH a charming northeastern town. I painted this while on a six week adventure with a dear friend, and fellow artist, Jodie Maurer. We roamed around Maine and New Hampshire in the dismal March weather which hovered somewhere between 34 - 42 degrees F. The colors in reality were brown, gray, and dark gray, and it rained A LOT on that trip, so this presented a fun challenge to try to find and heighten the colors that were secretly there.
While the print doesn't have the physical texture of the original, this high-quality print shows the brush strokes and depth of color on a stretched, gallery-wrapped canvas. This piece will be produced on demand...made in the USA specifically for you...and will ship directly to you, ready to hang!
