To me, rendering this idea in stained glass speaks to the multi-faceted benefits we gain when we direct our prayerful study to understanding the why and how of the resurrection and the ascension. The universal symbols of ultimate sacrifice / love (the cross) and ultimate triumph / eternal Life (the crown) are further abstracted into stained glass.
